Terms of service

1. The service
rebuw connects riders with independent drivers for trips within our published service area in the northern Twin Cities exurbs, operating as a transportation network company under Minnesota law.
2. Fares
Fares are computed from our published rate card and locked at quote time. The locked amount is what you are charged for the quoted trip. A demand multiplier from 1.0× to 1.75× may apply before the booking fee; it is disclosed in the quote and does not change after booking. Cancellation fees apply only after a driver has accepted your request, at the amounts shown on our pricing page.
3. Your account
Accounts are verified by phone number. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your contact information current. You must be 18 or older to hold an account.
4. Conduct
Treat drivers and riders with respect. No harassment, discrimination, weapons, or open containers. Service animals are always permitted. Violations can lead to suspension or removal — with a stated reason and an appeal path.
5. Drivers
Drivers are independent contractors who receive 60% of each fare, 100% of tips, and at minimum Minnesota's statutory per-trip pay floor. Driver obligations, insurance requirements, and deactivation rights are detailed in the driver agreement.
6. Liability & disputes
Trips are covered by the insurance Minnesota requires of TNCs. Disputes are governed by Minnesota law. Full liability, arbitration, and indemnification provisions will appear in the final terms.
